For today’s post, it was suggested by our fearless leader Eskimimi: How do you keep your yarn wrangling organised? It seems like an easy to answer question at first, but in fact organisation exists on many levels. Maybe you are truly not organised at all, in which case I am personally daring you to try and photograph your stash in whatever locations you can find the individual skeins. However, if you are organised, blog about an aspect of that organisation process, whether that be a particularly neat and tidy knitting bag, a decorative display of your crochet hooks, your organised stash or your project and stash pages on Ravelry.
Hmm…I am very organized when it comes to my job, but not so much when it comes to my hobby. Most of my stash is located in plastic bins or tubs in the living room and in the guest bedroom. I do have my sock yarns in about 3 drawers (I have LOTS of sock yarn!!!); my fancy, dancy fun fur and other specialty yarns in the top drawer above the sock yarn drawers, and my cotton for wash cloths, etc in a small bowl.
As to keeping myself organized on my blog, well, actually, that’s not why I started this blog. It was to share my experiences, my thoughts, my hopes, and my aspirations on my knitting adventures.
So this is today’s blog…such as it is. I promise that tomorrow’s blog will be MUCH BETTER!!!
